SATURDAY September 13, 2008
9AM, Eat around Noon
Quimby Enterline , once again, is hosting our September meeting at the park! This has been one of our best get togethers, with lots of good food! It is hoped that you and your family will be able to join us at The Annual OCWC Picnic , held at Stephenson Park in Edmond again this year. With the State Fair in full swing and our meeting place occupied by others, we have a chance to get together for an open dish outing. We can enjoy an all day social and carving event. Come early and stay late. Bring your covered dish to share and your table service and drink. At the picnic, you can choose from a variety of cut outs to carve for the show hourly door prize. We will have several easy carving projects, the little angel, the Santa stuck in the chimney, the ice cycle tree ornament and others. As always, the event will be held rain or shine. We will be protected by a nice covered pavilion. SEE YOU THERE!

The Midwest City Library has again asked that our club display carvings in the library display area beginning August 29 through end of September. A one day carve in in the library lobby along side the display will held on Saturday, August 30th., for all OCWC members who wish to attend. This has become an annual event with a good venue for OCWC members to display their talent. Bring your entries to the Midwest City library around 9:00 am on  29 August or get them to me on or before that date. Earl Cox 732-5143, email at:earlcox@cox.net
